If you enjoy Bible-themed word search, give this book a try So far I’ve completed 23 of the 101 puzzles. For those puzzles there were between 24 and 44 hidden words. The puzzles include a good selection of many well-known Bible verses from both the Old and New Testaments (in modern translation). The book is large print except for the answer section, but that’s okay, since most people won’t need to refer to the solutions. Normally I circle the words and cross them off a list using pencil. But for this book it was easier to use highlighter to mark the found words. Because the word list is embedded in the Bible verses and denoted by underlining, just crossing through the words is not as obvious as crossing through a regular list of words. The paper was thick enough that the highlighter did not bleed through. Because the hidden words come from the verses, there are many repeated words between puzzles, but not within a single puzzle. Because hidden words come from the verses, it also means that uninteresting words show up a lot like: one, and, you, for, are, said, also, the, was, saw, but, from, him. I like that the words are hidden in all directions (including diagonally), both forwards and backwards.Wonderful Bible Word Search book! First: The review is my unbiased opinion. I have received a complimentary copy of 'Favorite Verses Bible Word Search' from Charles Timmerman. The book contains a nice array of word search puzzles from both the Old and New Testaments. At the top of each page the author has provided a short description of the theme of the Bible verse which is printed beneath the puzzle. There are many words to find in each of these puzzles providing many hours of enjoyment while pondering God's Word through Scripture passages. I find it beneficial to my prayer life to complete the puzzle and carry the passage to reflect on throughout the day. The intro pages give an overview of how to solve word search puzzles as well an explanation of the wide margins on every page (to be able to remove if one choses). The print is very large making it easy to read and identify the words in the grid. I have been working Bible word search books for years and have many of Mr. Timmerman's. I find they are the best ones available.. I definitely recommend this book and will be purchasing 'Inspiring Verses Bible Word Search' soon. Thank you Mr. Timmerman for this copy and for all of the creative work you do.Worth every penny I bought this for my mom for Christmas and I am positive that she is going to love it. I almost kept it for myself, but decided I will just buy myself my own. Love the format of the clues and puzzles

Title: Letting Go Pdf The Pathway of Surrender
Author: David R. Hawkins
Published Date: 2014
Page: 368

David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D., is Director of the Institute for Spiritual Research, Inc., and Founder of the Path of Devotional Nonduality. He is renowned as a pioneering researcher in the field of consciousness, as well as author, lecturer, clinician, physician, and scientist. He has served as an advisor to Catholic, Protestant, and Buddhist monasteries; appeared on major network television and radio programs; and lectured widely at such places as Westminster Abbey, the Oxford Forum, the University of Notre Dame, and Harvard University. People from all walks of life and nationalities honor Dr. Hawkins as a teacher of advanced awareness, exemplified in the title "Foremost Teacher of the Way to Enlightenment." His spiritual evolution is briefly recounted in the "About the Author" summary at the conclusion of this book. His life is devoted to the upliftment of mankind.

Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to Enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author’s clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book. Dr. Hawkins’s previous books focused on advanced states of awareness and Enlightenment. Over the years, thousands of students had asked for a practical technique by which to remove the inner blocks to happiness, love, joy, success, health, and, ultimately, Enlightenment. This book provides a mechanism for letting go of those blocks. The mechanism of surrender that Dr. Hawkins describes can be done in the midst of everyday life. The book is equally useful for all dimensions of human life: physical health, creativity, financial success, emotional healing, vocational fulfillment, relationships, sexuality, and spiritual growth. It is an invaluable resource for all professionals who work in the areas of mental health, psychology, medicine, self-help, addiction recovery, and spiritual development.

Just really boring This is one of those books that feels like it has no point. I tried to listen to in on audio, and because of all the great reviews, I bought the print copy too. I made it about 100 pages in, but I didn't find any concrete advice. I think it's great so many people got something out of it and maybe I missed something in the endless rambling and platitudes, but I didn't enjoy or get anything from this book. I found it tedious searching for the author's point, so I finally let it go.Amazing Book had a positive, life-changing impact I found this book to be really helpful, in fact that’s an understatement, it was life-changing for me. All the other reviews, even the negative ones are true - it’s simple, it’s repetitive but somehow this book unlocked some things for me. I find that many times the simplest truths are the most impactful which I would say is true in this case. I do a lot of reading books such as this one by Tolle, Course in Miracles, Deepak Chopra, Easwaran, etc and this one helped put it all together and it made sense in a way that was actionable. When I started reading the book I was very depressed and apathetic. I felt trapped and like I was going thru the motions of every day life but without joy. Right from the beginning of the book it struck a cord with me as he described all of the desperate things people do to try to avoid their feelings. I thought, this is me! It was like holding a mirror up and I saw my sadness and drain of energy to avoid my feelings and at the same time the desperate flailing about looking for anything to help make me feel better. Within the first few chapters I was able to identify some old repressed feelings and just by recognizing they were there, I think it released them. I feel so much better. I equate it to a ball that is being held under water and when it is released it shoots up. That’s what it felt like. But I wondered could it be that simple? I’m learning apparently in my case it can - it seems it is.While it is true that Dr Hawkins doesn’t really describe in detail the actual mechanics of letting go, for me just identifying the emotion, recognizing it was there was enough to release it. I am not sure if this book would have had the same impact had I not done extensive reading of other authors, hard to say, but this one helped all the concepts to coalesce for me.The other thing that I found helpful was the spirit of acceptance and understanding. I no longer feel shame or guilt over my less noble feelings such as jealousy, competitiveness, arrogance, pride, or anger. I can recognize them for what they are as part of my human condition and the programming of my past. I can work thru them without hiding them or the added burden of guilt or shame and release them. That, in and of itself, is a powerful thing and a great gift that I received from this book.I would recommend this book to anyone and hope that it has the same positive, life-changing effect on you that it had for on me.This Book Changed My Life This book changed my life and offers a process to free yourself from negative thinking that works! I have been working on myself for many years and had read Power Vs. Force some years ago. I also recommend you read Power Vs. Force first, which talks about the evolutionary pattern of how we all spiritually develop, and that will help you understand the framework presented in Letting Go better. Now the framework is repeated in Letting Go as well, but I think it makes more of an impact if you read Power Vs. Force first. Letting Go gives us a process for evolving our emotional and spiritual selves according to that natural, evolutionary pattern explained in Power Vs. Force. Letting Go provides a framework and a process for letting go of old negative emotions, such as guilt, anger, or fear, which frees up our energy, makes us much happier, and lets us evolve spiritually. The book is not religious and can be used with any belief system. The process offers a way to clear negative stuff from the unconscious that is repressed and suppressed, allowing us to experience happiness, which should be our natural state. How many of us can say we are always naturally happy? Yeah. The book says that letting go of negative emotions may also cure chronic illness, of which I had my doubts because it sounded so woo-woo. But over the course of two months I followed the process, which only takes moments a day as old feelings come up -- you don't need to contemplate your navel for hours on end or make a big deal out of it. You need to devote thoughts to the process, but not really time so it is a very easy process to follow and you can do it anytime, while commuting, in the shower, whatever, so it does not take time out of your busy day. For myself, not only is some long-standing general anxiety gone, but a chronic illness has just gone away! I mean, one day it was there as it had been for 10 years, and the next day it was magically gone. Not only that, but I feel much stronger, powerful, more peaceful, and much happier. I look 5 years younger. I have bought this book for Christmas gifts because I think it is better than therapy for just getting happier. Even if you think you have resolved all the traumas in your life, working this process will make you so much more happy and effective. If there is one book you should be reading, it is this one.

Wonderful resources for parents Incredibly helpful book! This has helped a lot in finding a good communication channel with my 4 year old son. The constant battles of "But I don't want to" "I want to do this instead" are now easily handled. I really enjoy having the skills explained in my "parent toolbox". As recommended, I wrote them out and put them on the fridge for quicker references for those "on the spot" moments. Highly recommended if you have a child that wont' listen to you, ignores you or you otherwise experience parenting issues rooted in communication and listening with your child. Was not very useful with my teen, but surprise, surprise, worked like a charm for my 7 year old. I have a 15 year old daughter and while there are no major problems and we communicate very openly and honestly about everything, there are still moments where I feel that either I am treating things the right way or she is being rude. I bought the book hoping that it would greatly improve our already good rapport. This book is probably very helpful for parents who do not have an open line of communication with their teens, parents who are either too strict or too lenient or too afraid to have honest conversations with their kids. I did not find the book personally to be very helpful because my daughter has the maturity of a 25 year old and will laugh at some of the most of the tricks and tips described in this book. However, this did not turn out to be a complete waste because I started using some of the techniques with my spoiled little bratty 7 year old and it worked! An example: one evening he was majorly pissed because he could not get home in time to watch his TV show. So instead of trying to calm him down in a traditional way by telling him that it was not a huge deal, I used the fantasy strategy from the book and said "Wouldn't you wish the car could just fly and we would be home in a second?" Right away, his tears stopped and he said "Yeah, and I also wish that you could always go back and see the missed parts of your shows" to which I said "You know, someone thought about that and invented DVR, we don't have it at our house, but we can look into it, OK?" At that point, he was all smiles. One very important point I learned from the book, as parents, we tend to often disregard our kids feelings about what we perceive to be minor things such as missing a show, but to kids, these things are major. We can't expect them to yet understand that such small problem is nothing compared to major bad stuff that happens in the world.LOVE! I am a teacher LOVE! I am a teacher, not a parent (yet) and this book applies to all of the wonderful kids in my life. I love the exercises and the variety of examples. Highly recommend for teachers or parents!
