spellbinding series I love this series so far. Well written and edited. World building was phenomenal. You can picture each character and event in the story.Loved Allie . Strong willed, confident, and determined to correct a "mistake" she and her twin sister made .I started reading in the morning and couldn't put the book down til the last page. I can't wait for the next in the adventure.Excellent description of the fae world. What will happen next and how will Allie get herself out of the pickle she is in with her fae capture.Without a doubt , this is the best story I have read in a very long time. I would not hesitate to recommend this series.My only problem is that I have to wait for the next book.A determined kick-ass heroine battles the fae! An amazingly beautiful book about a real kick-ass heroine, Allie whose twin, Hulanna was taken by the fae into the fae world supposedly never to be seen again. The twin mountain herders dared to go to the star stone circle and dance, the dance that would call the fae to them from Faewald however, what started off as a prank turned into Allie's worst nightmare. Her twin was gone, the door to the faewald had been opened and the evil fae were entering into the village full of bad intent and Allie had lost her sight except for her second sight. For every human the fae managed to get through the star stones a shining one got out into the human world. She became desperate in her search for her sister but things just kept getting worse and all the villagers turned against her family blaming her parents for the twins’ waywardness. Through her second sight she could see the fae so she set out to trap them in the cage of souls, never faltering even when her very life was in danger. This is the first book in the series fae hunter and it is a book full of magic, and fae lore and old wives tales and superstitions which just might be the stories which will save them all. I cannot wait to read book 2!Great Fae fantasy series It’s always difficult with a new series as a chunk of the story is taken up with laying the background and learning about the different characters. Overall I enjoyed the story as I do with all of Sarah’s books.As I pride myself with giving an honest review, the only unfavorable comment would be that I don’t really like reading how “hot “ guys are or how they look without a shirt. No doubt that appeals to the ladies but having said that , it was such a good story that I still enjoyed this magnificent magical journey.Book 2 promises to be even better with , as I said , the groundwork being laid in book 1.The main character , Allie, is the Fae Hunter and we get to share her “ learning her trade”.In my own humble opinion, you have to read the whole story to appreciate and be able to make an honest review.At the end of the day, the question that is relevant is “ do I want to read the next book?” The answer is, YES. MOST DEFINITELY.
